Here is a short letter/piece of advice that I just came across. I wrote it to a friend who was a freshman in high school when I was a senior and getting ready to graduate.
Life is a journey. The trek is a difficult one; the road sometimes seems to wear away and it feels like we have to clear our own path. But we are not alone. When it feels like you've taken so many turns that you'll get sick, stop and rest. When you come to a cliff and are dangling by a limb, slowly take a step back. Close your eyes, look around at everything in your life. Separate all that's jumbled and begin to take small steps forward again. God is there.
